John manhandling Sherlock.

"I’m yours, John. I’ve always been yours. You must know that."

if you think the belief that the main relationship in a story will eventually be realized as romantic/sexual is equal to ‘hating on smaller ships’ then we honestly can’t help you

Damn! I have to hurry with this commission. I’ve never been so slow. And it’s all my fault! Sorry, dear client! :(

Sherlock series 3 quotes:
J: "It was probably just an addict in need of a fix."
S: Yes. I think in a way it was.

LOVE this conversation.

This conversation is the equivalent of lemon juice in your paper cut.

That shit is so upsetting.

Imagine this conversation going down between you and someone you love.  They both know this conversation is much more about John’s addiction and lot less about Sherlock’s.  Sherlock is the one that’s literally high, but John is the one in the corner twitching nervously and looking guiltily at floor.  Here’s the dysfunctional aspect of their miscommunication.   John calling Sherlock “a fix,” and Sherlock accepting the definition.  Acknowledging John sought out the dangers of a crack den in replacement of the thing he really wanted.  ”Yes, I think in a way it was.”  Basically a so you found the next best thing.

Not even so much this, as the part where, linguistically speaking, Sherlock is comparing himself to a drug, to something being used.  Then accepts it because he thinks John only stays for the one the thing that Sherlock himself thinks he’s good for:  The Work and the dangers that come with it.

Welcome to the open mouth of Sherlock’s lack of self-value. Enjoy your stay.

  • Pilot!John:

I looked you up on the internet last night

  • Pilot!Sherlock:

    Found anything interesting ?

  • Pilot!John:

    Yeah your grindr profile.

  • Pilot!Sherlock:

  • Pilot!John:

So, you like military men ?

  • Me:

If I ever get published, I'm going to write fanfiction for my own books

  • Me:

And then reviewers will be like, "Omg that's totally out of canon."

  • Me:

And I'll be like, "Bitch, I am the canon."

Can you please really quickly explain the whole issue of your previous reblogged post ? About the whole 'leaving the fandom' ? I've been seeing it on my dash a lot, what's happening ??

I generally avoid doing this, but this is so wrong I’m actually going to address it.

Yesterday, a tumblr user commented on a post. She shamed a young woman for talking about representation. You can find her post (and my reply) here

Many people replied to her post.

She “apologized” here

Which, mind you, wasn’t even an apology.

She later said that she was leaving the fandom because of “wank”

We also found out that she locked her Johnlock fics. Why? Because she made a deal with a publishing house to publish the fics. She changed the names and straightwashed the characters.

So people, including me, are now angry because she is a hypocritical, condescending, rude, ignorant woman who will shame young people for talking about representation, because they should be “grateful” for what they have now (since queer people had it worse before), because we don’t know what activism is, because we are younger, because young queer people know nothing, because we just want to see these two characters fuck (which couldn’t be farther from the truth), and then will then proceed to straightwash a Johnlock fic to publish it.

Thanks for pointing this out, dear. And… What the actual fuck???

John Hamish Watson

Who has straight-washed a fic??? Who is leaving the fandom? Whoooooooooo???
